Stock Clerk - Isando
Department Lubricants
Job Type Permanent

Location - Country South Africa
Key Purpose To manage the bulk product
inventory in order to contribute to the efficient
running of the DC, while at the same time
minimizing the cost of holding and ensuring HSEQ
compliance.
Key Responsibilities • Ensures integrity and
accuracy of the stock management system
• Produce daily reports to ensure key critical
areas of the stock system are controlled and any
discrepancies addressed and resolved.
• Carry out weekly and monthly inventory stock
count.
• Ensure incoming product is receipted and
managed appropriately according to company
procedures.
• Prepares requisitions, orders, or other
documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or
additional stock items.
• Relief the duties of the production clerk
Specific Outcomes • Bulk stock, drum stock and
containers controlled and efficient execution of
stock count
• Materials are ready and available for production
as and when required
• Achieve a minimum of 95% inventory record
accuracy
Education & Experience Grade 12 or equivalent
National Diploma in Financial Accounting /
Management will be advantageous
Minimum 3 years relevant stock management
experience
MS Office experience (Word, Excel)
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes Knowledge
• In depth knowledge of inventory management
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000.
• Working knowledge of products stored
• Possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills for a demanding and
customer focused working environment.
• Have understanding of MRP and inventory
control / management systems and ERP
